From The Gm Of Canucks – Canucks For Kids

 

On behalf of the Vancouver Canucks and Canucks for Kids Fund, I would like to offer our sincere thanks to YVR Golf for Kids co-chairs Fran Davis and Jim Westmacott, the YVR Golf for Kids directors and committees, tournament sponsors, volunteers, and the YVR airport for their hard work and dedication in putting on this truly special fundraising event.

 

The Canucks for Kids Fund is honored to be selected as one of the beneficiaries of YVR Golf for Kids and to designate these funds to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice. With the support of events such as YVR Golf for Kids, the Canucks for Kids Fund was pleased to be able to donate $1.5 million to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice this past year.

 

The Canucks for Kids Fund dedicates resources to assist charities which support children’s health and wellness, foster the development of grassroots hockey, and facilitate and encourage education in British Columbia. Thanks to the generosity of our fans, donors, players, employees and sponsor partners, the Canucks for Kids Fund has granted over $28 million to charities in British Columbia over the last two decades, serving over 85 different organizations and helping them to reach their goals.
