Silent Auction Rules

 

Silent Auction begins at 5:00pm with the first closing to be at 8:00pm (Luxurious Indulgence, Wine and Gourmet). The second set of silent auctions will close at 8:30pm (Sports Zone, Kids at Heart and House & Home) with the remaining silent auction closing at 9:00p.m (Great Escapes). Please write legibly. No bid may be made after the auction is closed.

 

Guaranteed Bids

The “Guaranteed Bid” amount included on each bid sheet ensures your ownership of the item. If you would like to guarantee your purchase of an item, you may enter the guaranteed bid amount in the “guaranteed bid” box provided on the Silent Auction Bid Sheet (s). Any further bidding will not be valid. You will own the item!

 

Live Auction Bids: Raise Your Hand!

The Live Auction will begin at approximately 9:10pm. To place a bid, raise your hand and keep it raised until the auctioneer has acknowledged your bid. In the case of a dispute over the successful bid in the Live Auction, the auctioneer will have the final decision.

Restaurant, travel, and hotel gift certificates exclude alcohol, tax, gratuity, parking (unless specified), resort fees, surcharges and incidentals. Usually, advance reservations are required at least 60 days in advance for most travel and space is subject to availability. Some dates may not be available, specifically statutory holidays and some black out dates may be in effect.

 

YVR Golf for Kids reserves the right to withdraw any item for sale. All sales are final. There will be no exchange or refund of items. Air travel prizes are non-transferable, non-negotiable and have no cash value. YVR Golf for Kids assumes no responsibility for travel arrangements.

 

Payment

Full payment and removal of auction items is required this evening. We accept cash, cheque, MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Please pay the cashiers at the “Bank” located in the Cedarbridge Room.

 

Unless otherwise specified, all gift certificates and services will expire by the date shown.
